"I recently bought a 1:1 lesson with @cathy.pyle to help me really get to grips with the kit I have and to make best use of it in my home. I feel like I’ve unlocked so much new potential in my equipment - I’ve discovered new functions, settings, learned so many new techniques and approaches. It’s made me really excited to get practising again - just what I needed after a bit of a slump. So thank you Cathy! And I’d fully recommend for anyone else who knows the basics but feels they’d benefit from being taken through their usual approach with a skilled professional, helping them expand their skill set and get the most out of what they already have"

With my background as a teacher of adults, it's a pleasure to now use my experience to help people improve their photography skills.  I'm now taking bookings for one-to-one teaching and mentoring sessions, whether you'd like to master the basics of your DSLR, improve your images for social media or business, or work towards a particular goal in photography. Whatever your level, I'll be delighted to work with you to help you achieve your goals. All sessions are bespoke and designed exactly around your needs - we'll start with a chat on the phone to talk about what you'd like to achieve - and can be held either in my home/workshop space (pictured above) or in your own home or workspace. Sessions can be anything from a one-hour, one-off, to a number of sessions over a period of weeks or months.

Gift vouchers are also available if you'd like to treat a friend or family member to a one-to-one session with me to help them with their photography.

I also offer small group photography workshops, both in my own home and in other locations. All of my workshops are informal, hands-on sessions, with lots of opportunity for interaction and practice. My next workshop is Interior Photography & Styling with stylist Kay Prestney at Louisa Grace Interiors in Banstead; click here for all the details and to book your place.

Please just get in touch for further details or for an informal and friendly chat.
