I'm Cathy Pyle, an interior and lifestyle photographer based in Guildford, Surrey.
My work comes very much from the heart: it's about celebrating the quiet beauty we can find in everyday moments and spaces; creating images that evoke simplicity and emotion - and, always, beautiful light.
I'm a regular contributor of house tours for the US-based design and interiors blog Apartment Therapy. I've also had features published in interior and lifestyle magazines - 91 Magazine, Mollie Makes, and HomeStyle - and in the Guardian and the Sunday Times. If you have a beautiful home you'd like to share, please do get in touch!
If you're a creative or small business owner, I can help you present what you do with high-quality images, so essential in today's online, visual world. Images of you, your space, what you make or do - I can capture any or all of this for you through a series of images that tell your story in a beautiful and authentic way. Working closely with you as a client, taking the time to get to understand your ideas, your style and your vision, is hugely important to me. I work with architects, designers and makers, therapists and coaches, composers, actors and musicians, chefs and educators - take a look at my portfolio for some examples of my work, and read some of the kind words people have said about working with me here.
When I'm not camera-in-hand, I'm often to be found baking with my kids, rummaging through junk shops for hidden treasures, watching Nordic Noir on tv with my husband, or walking through the woods in the beautiful hills close to where we live.
